Cambodian Americans Preserve Khmer Culture (Cambodia News in Khmer)

Cambodian-Americans in the Washington area are trying to preserve the Khmer history and culture for the young generation. At the Khmer New Year celebration this year, organizers at the Cambodian temple in Silver Spring, Maryland put on a program to show how Cambodian people dressed during the Angkor period. VOA Khmer's Sothearith Im has this report.

[jalart-4jur or jiruk] Khmers oversea had learn the hard way When Sihanouk came to power 1975 most of us had lost love ones.It hard to forget those day .But now it even harder to see leaders allow yuons flooding to cambodiahave.Soon our children have to start learning yuons.What should be done to ge their attentions to help khmers while there's still little chance left.
