@@CamboVlogs I think what he meant by Khmer Ler (Northern Khmer) that resides in Thailand and Khmer Krom (Southern Khmer) who resides in Vietnam. The “ jungle people” are the Pnong, they’re the hill tribe people.

@@tombrazy12hunnit Thanks for the clarification. I grew up around Khmer people in Long Beach, CA and some considered me Thai and not Khmer because of my accent when I speak Khmer. I was born in Cambodia and know my roots and it’s a sad story of how the Khmer Empire had crumbled and lost our land but the internet has revealed that Khmer culture still lives on in Thailand and Vietnam. ✌🏼

Yeah, I eat my balut by not looking either but I open the egg big enough to put my spoon in. I put the (mixed) seasoning in and dig it out and put it in my mouth.

My stepdad tried to force me to eat balut when I was a kid. I only ate the white part of the egg but couldn't eat the baby part. It was ok. Once was enough for me. Never eat it again. I can live without it. But good for you, you are becoming a true Khmer. 🤪

man I grew up with balut and I still can't get myself to eat it. The thought of eating a whole baby animal still freaks me out but the yolk sac is delicious. I think it also be a texture thing. I'm glad you tried it and liked it, keep on eatin'!

Ahhh man balut is not bad tasting but damn the look is horrible. I completely missed the head bit out and only ate the yolk + whites. It was nice! But I couldn’t do the head
