Visiting a historic location with book in hand, as the man spoke about, would be an overwhelming experience. It would be fantastic to read the descriptions in the book and look up to see the physical location right in front of you

Beautiful bit of film-making. Love the pace and the music. Wonderful mood of mystery. Those mountains are calling me!

Thank you for the great video. In fact, you do feel saga characters as your acquaintances or friends even being foreign and not Icelandic. A surprising psychological outcome of having read them through one's life. Takk

Very interesting. I've read a few sagas, but not this one, so it was a nice surprise and well presented. Thanks to everyone behind the film!

The only thing missing in this video is the addition of Sigur Rós' music.

First half good, second half not as good, but in 20 years Emily may be a good source to look to for Icelandic sagas
