Cambridge Surprise Major at North Mymms, Hertfordshire

Some Cambridge Surprise Major rung at North Mymms. The bells were adequate but not particularly remarkable. They go okay and ring nicely, but there's nothing especially noteworthy about them.
The back six bells have an interesting history, having been cast in 1806 by John Briant. The two trebles were added later, in 1920, and were cast by Mears and Stainbank. While the bells function well together and produce a pleasant sound, they don't stand out as exceptional. Overall, they provide a decent ringing experience.
