I’m so worried Page, I have progressed so much and now they might base my results on predicted grades which uses my SATS results that I did in year 6. This is a;l so unfair for us students and I which that GCSEs could just be postponed instead

This outbreak is going to make my first year of university even harder now... Classes have moved online now and because we were forced to live out of campus residences I no longer have access to Wi-Fi. Being quarantined is tough :( But it's for the better with this Pandemic

Hey Paige! It’s so refreshing to watch vlogs from when you were still at Cambridge as right now much of KZbin is just about the virus…honestly still in shock about the abrupt end to uni and the thought of never returning to the campus which was my home for 3 years! Hope you are doing well and fingers crossed we can still have a good end of the year! Are you still going to be filming videos even when at home ? Perhaps about how to continue doing uni work / staying motivated to finish uni work even though everything is online? I know that would be useful for many uni students at this time not just me! X

It sucks as this was my last term in college too, like I was literally a week before the term ends and we just had to wait until June for the graduation (our uni is weird). I have a few questions. Are any of your projects cancelled or postponed? How will it be with your exams? There are a few people watching you from Central Europe, just like me. I'm Hungarian and I know for sure that there are quite a lot of Hungarian students in Cambridge. So I have another thing worth mentioning: somebody commented about the lack of Oxbridge-like traditions in Central Europe. But: for example, quite a few Hungarian universities have their own traditions which are based on those of the German Burschenschaften. Hungarian technical higher education originated in the Academy of Selmecbánya (today Slovakia, Banska Štiavnica) where the official teaching language was German until 1867. Actually, German (Austrian) students and teachers brought their traditions to Hungary. Traditional formal events are called _szakestély_ (< German _Schachttag_ < _Schacht_: name of the pub in Banska Štiavnica). Originally they were students' drinking events which became more formalized over time and some professors also joined the students. Nowadays, quite a few professors, too, are involved in keeping the traditions alive and their presence makes the event a bit more Oxbridge-like. Students also take their (German-like) uniforms for the largest events which may involve hundreds of students. Originally, they were men's events, of course, because women were excluded from universities. Nowadays, female students are "masculinised" as a part of the inaugural ceremony. Although German Burschenschaften still exist today and share a lot of elements with Banska Štiavnica and its successors in Sopron, Miskolc, Székesfehérvár and Dunaújváros, they don't have this special ceremony.

Wow that was a very interesting talk, once I had the chance to speak about all afternoon with Dr. Alcubierre the man behind Warp Drive, and discussing some of my ideas of space time deformation was not determinist and Lorenz attractors could be dynamic as the universe expansion, I thought about it developing a way to rendering sound visible for my thesis on architectural acoustics, when he said that our conversation reached his theory it was so amazing and a priceless moment.
