Luca narrating would be the most childish (proof from seeing him in the house leading up to boat race) but best thing ever

Does each seat have watt output displays? Does the cox? I would think you could just find a maximal wattage output for every stage of the race and just match that.

Surely Oxford are way better than oxford Brooke’s? Or is the famous boat race actually between two rather average teams?
@Tom-vu1wr3 ай бұрын
No Oxford Brookes r just exceptionally good

Academically Oxford Brookes is just a bit easier to get into and they have been attracting a lot of very talented rowers for years and have a great program going.
@CraftingStudios13373 ай бұрын
Brookes is far and away the best academic rowing club in the UK. Oxford and Cambridge are both very high up there, but they're often thought of among the general public as absolutely the best, for a couple of reasons. Chiefly, there's the Boat Race, which is probably the most-watched bit of academic rowing, and certainly the most culturally salient among people not otherwise deeply into the sport. There's also Oxbridge college rowing, which - while obviously much lower level - adds to the cultural entrenchment of the idea that Oxford and Cambridge are *the places* to be for university rowing, even if some other university clubs might be faster. Source: mediocre Oxford college rower, have felt the shockwave of Brookes boats ripping past me during various head races

Oxford Brookes is the best univeristy for rowing in the world. 13 wins at Henley in the last 2 years. Squad of 120 athletes, including women who are as also incredible - their top women's boat beat UK, US, Canadian and Dutch under-23 national boats last season.
