Is in the rules that the competitors make out with each other afterwards or is that just part of the sports culture?

Hi Tom, really good insight. I am attempting a kettlebell world record in January, and I'm very interested in the taper. Just to confirm, are you saying that you from 7 days out to 3 days out you literally do no exercise? It always worries me that I'm losing something, I.e. muscle, strength, not having my CNS ready to fire etc. Thanks mate

Tom you beauty! Way to represent. I managed to resist googling the results for the last few months and feel well rewarded. What a rush! Many congrats to you lads from Canada.

For those who might follow the BBC TV series "Rogue Heroes" It worth noting that the 1937 president of OUBC, Jock Lewes, and 1938 president of CUBC Tom Langton were, come WW2, officers in the SAS. Jock, one of the founding officers, sadly was killed in action and buried in an unmarked grave somewhere in the Libyan Desert. Tom won the MC and continued to serve By 1944 he was promoted to Major and was an SAS squadron commander in France during the period after D Day

Hi Tom, I was wondering if you would recommend the glasses that rowers wear for those that are fairly now? Are they polarised and is it necessary?
@Rich_Mitch_Creative13 күн бұрын
"and then, it feels like flying..." every rower ever (even if they haven't rowed for around ten years like me) get's that burning feeling in their eyes like you remember years worth of a sport you love, and probably miss. What a moment. This is one hell of a watch. Big thanks.

Thanks for these great videos on this awesome race Tom! I remember in the lead up to the 2024 race there was a mini documentary piece that featured Gus and Marty competing against each other for the final seat in your 1st boat, though I don’t think it was the “Turning the tide” one that you mentioned. Any idea what this series might be/where I can find it again?
