Brand new DayZ player here. Played less than 20 hours so far. Managed to last at most 3 hours with q character and died due to illness. Absolutely love these suggestions. Theyre going to help me improve greatly! Would also love to see a video going more into basics. As at the moment i still cant figure out how to craft manythings on consol (ps5) especially getting the ability to cook food. Thats been the killer of me a couple of times now. Also the night is evil eslecially after blood loss

I'm 24 hrs in. I bushwacked a guy in a city on the northeast coast after I spawned. Got lucky and found a weapon cache further west in a city. I'm using the railroad tracks to move. I made my way to the southwest coast, and now I'm moving inland past Pop, or Bop or something. I have literally everything I need to survive. I'm a newbie with real world skills. This game is amazing.

Absolutely loved this video. My dad recently bought me DayZ for my birthdays because he wanted to share the love he has for the game with me. He has a lot of progress and I'm happy I'll be able to enjoy this with him. Great advice, will definitely give these strats a shot.

Been playing 4 months now, your tips were the game changer for myself, I started running the coast, because as a new player having to overcome lack of ability and knowledge I was fearful of dying, leaving the coast and heading in land immediately is hands down the best advice in this game ,and helped me to get better by living longer to become knowledgeable of the game itself . Now, I’m no pro but I’m accountable and have thousands of hours booked. And yet I still learn all time things I didn’t know . That’s awesome video! My personal missing link is the PVP only I think. So lack of experience in gunfights. Shooting Z’s not a problem but! But spotting a player getting shaky hands! Not gear fear and not scared to die just because lack of confidence in gun fight! Yes true that joining V++ could help even my friend told me that joined together ohh that noises and got killed every second haha I was a 20 hour player or so f….&£)(!!! So what should I do just join anyway and keep dying till I start killing peoples??? Could you cover a video about how to build up pvp techniques and some PvP, dpi,in game settings to help react better in gunfights??! Or this is to much.? Thanks for helping people’s to join this amazing game community!!!! What a great project!!!❤

I got fully geared yesterday then died by doing this very thing just b-line in land but its not easy to survive lol zombies got me every time still not made a fire and still not hunted some meat. It was disturbing to find somebody along my route had been eaten haha

It does respawn, but not right away. I think different things respawn on their own schedule. If you hang around in an orchard it will become obvious fruit is respawning, more quickly than just about anything else.

It's your choice, the only bad thing about official is they are unmonitored, so if there is a cheater, he can run free. Community servers regulate those kinda things.
