Sports are rigged but not like yall think. Its not like Professional Wrestling where the outcome is already planned. Its moreso, the leagues use referees and rule changes to favor one team over the other. Teams still have to go out and compete, but the leagues make it their business to give an advantage to some teams and players.

Athletes do not decide whether they play or not. The team doctor determines that. Before every game the team doctor looks at you to make sure you're okay to go out there. You can say hey I'm not playing today but if the team doctor says that you're 100% then you're going to look a certain way in the media to your team to the front office to the fans all that. And it gets reported immediately. And it's a requirement to have to report that.
