Camden New Jersey Is Finally Making A Comeback!

Crime is way down, many of the vacant homes have been removed, the police force has been streamlined and the downtown core has seen numerous redevelopment projects. Its still far from perfect but this video shows some of the big changes that have been occurring in Camden.
The video starts along Broadway where most improvement has been in the form of blight elimination, social outreach programs and a very visible police force. Later in the video, the drive passes through the downtown core where several large redevelopment projects have taken place over the past decade.

Murders are down 60%, blight is being eliminated, there’s a nice waterfront now… it’s farrr from perfect but it’s much better than a decade ago

Yep! the downtown part around the waterfront/university was very clean and safe feeling!
