Growing up as a teenager in philadelphia you always heard about the crime in Camden, back in the 2000s it was a rough time it was very dangerous to be in that neighborhood. But now it has gotten alot better. Is it perfect, No because there's no jobs for people but its definitely in a better place than i thought it would be.

As a cross country truck driver I have been to some pretty heavy towns, Camden was maybe the heaviest. I met some really heavy people and am proud to say they became good friends. Saved my life but that's another story. The moral to this story is if you treat people with respect they will do likewise. Camden is the only place I have ever been with an ATM that would dispense five dollars at a time. It's a heavy town. God bless you Beau, and thanks brother.

@@newdefsys, NeighborhoodScout's Jan. 2, 2020 report puts Camden at #18. According to their Jan 1, 2013 report, Camden was #2. It's still in the top 20 today and police have their work cut out for them, but I think we can all agree there's been significant improvement.
