Love love love this Plant Masters series. Appreciate that you take us to different parts of the US and show what can be grown in different zones. Also grateful to be learning from people who specialize in certain things. I feel like a traveler when you take us along. Thank you Jim.

One of my camellias opened its first flower today! I'm in zone 6b and have three of them in the ground. Also have a kalmia (PA's state flower) and a variegated pieris. I can see why strangers wander into that garden.

Wow! Those camellias! Mr. Green has such a pleasant and relaxing voice, this video was like a meditation for me - thoroughly enjoyed this interview and tour. I just adore seeing plants that are allowed to grow without being shaped - I've seen some boxwoods that were so huge that you could walk inside them. Would love to see more of his personal garden with all its mature plants. Thanks Jim! (Also, I actually appreciate the mild background noises, even if it's a road. It isn't intrusive or distracting and actually helps me feel like I'm really there.)

I have two October Magic Sasanqua Camellias that I purchased as one foot starts. I am training them as small trees to get them off the ground in a front window bed small area. What great plants. The color on the blooms can vary from year to year from white with pink/red edges to total deep pink. After 5 yrs they are chin high and I think I will keep them at around 7 feet. I do not shear them. I shape prune them lightly once a year in the spring.

'October Magic Orchid' is full of plump buds here in my SE Virginia garden, but the blooms are a few weeks away. It's a beauty in full flush. I'll keep my eye out for that red sasaqua. Please highlight his garden's gingers when you visit again. They are amazing plants. My butterfly ginger, *_Hedychium cornoarium_* is still perfuming the garden after the first bloom appeared two months ago. So fragrant! Thanks for adding them to your video introduction.
