@@BreezyInterwebs The biggest problem is their discoverability. They're not on spotify or bandcamp. You just have to find them randomly or be looking through Camellia's releases on his website.

short explanation as to why that can’t happen: lots of tedious copyright issues 😭 Big explanation as to why that can’t happen: only camellia could add the songs to spotify/apple music, & even then; he’d have to get additional rights to all of the songs in summary & vips 01 from their original albums’ labels to post them on said subscription-based streaming services because none of the songs in summary & vips 01 are songs he made FOR this album itself (besides the introduction); they were remastered, remixed, or vipped from albums not released under camellia’s name or label, so he doesn’t have the Full legal rights to do publicly tamper with or personally monetize those INDIVIDUAL songs anymore; however he obviously can make money from this album by people buying its cd

@@Synthix._ thanks for the explanation, also does that mean that it's the same situation with the second vip album, meganto meteor, galaxy burst and the other songs on xronial xero
@Synthix._2 ай бұрын
@@wirelessegg absolutely so, it’s just that instead it’s primarily bemani (konami’s rhythm game sector) who restricts the songs from meganto meteor, galaxy burst, and xronial xero, because especially all of those long versions of songs camellia has on those albums, he originally made their regular short versions for rhythm games owned by konami, and so konami, who is very proprietary about their content & copyright, have subsequently restricted them from streaming services because they have the rights to those songs meganto meteor on the other hand, i think is just exit tunes (the label in which that album & galaxy burst was released under) being Really stingy with the copyright of the songs in that album as well because there’s only two songs in that entire release that weren’t completely original works made specifically for meganto meteor itself (the two are glitch nerds & edm jumpers [the first jp title song, not the last one]; and they both originally come from exit tunes released albums as well: edp presents ravemania & edm extreme, respectively), so, i think i can confidently say meganto’s restrictions have to be entirely exit tunes’s fault (btw, EDP is a subsidiary label “ExitTunes Dance Production”, so there is no real difference; it’s still exit tunes). [also, with ashed wings, can i just say: how the FUCK did camellia manage to convince/get konami to give him the full rights to those long versions & let him post/monetize them directly from drm-protected streaming services like spotify & apple music??? i’m still shocked about how he pulled that off, massive props to camellia for that one]
