This step removes the file for your user defined cut settings. Therefore you have to set them up again, which creates the suspect file again and the crashes happen again. Have you figured out a way to keep you user defined cut settings? Thanks!!

This did not work for me. 😞 I also tried the uninstall and install 4.3 as suggested in another video. But 4.3 never showed as an option. I currently have the legacy version,and the problem still remains.

It did not work for me :( UPDATE: Just got it fixed. Deleted both folders, did install again. Ran as Administrator, gave error. Closed, ran again and then it kept working both as administrator and normal user.

Everytime I've done these steps, it does the exact same thing. I've even tried restarting the computer and reopening Silhouette. STILL AN ERROR 😒 I have no idea what caused this all of a sudden!

I have the same issue. And its lagging. It takes me hours just to make even one design it freezes and suddenly quits. I have performed the same step. It doesn’t work

@@brownskinbeauty I had to update my computer (which took about an hour). Must've been a lot tgat needed to be updated... including my Silhouette program. Try that and see if it works for you. GOOD LUCK 👍

Try deleting additional silhouette studio files and then launch application again. Mine didn’t work out at first but I had to end up deleting more files within the app data settings. Then sent to the recycle bin and delete again and it eventually worked
