I've had good luck with using foam with the adhesive applied /preglued already for the long skinny light seals as well. Before applying the seals i put some isopropyl alcohol in the light seal groove. This way the adhesive doesn't stick right away and the seals can be manipulated easier. After applying just let the alcohol evaporate and the foam is glued in there solid :)

I press some scotch-tape on mirror old dry foam bumpers. It lifts up the gross foam, without the mess.

and the last step, to clean the camera from outside, what do you use? acetona or isopropilyc too?

So how can someone measure exactly 1mm width for cutting the foam? It looks that you cut it without measuring...

You can pretty much calculate by eye after you have done a few cameras. And foam is flexible so it does have some tolerances.

A little safety note for everyone: be VERY CAREFUL working with syringes, especially with reactive chemicals and/or air in it! Don't poke yourself or anybody else accidentally, that's way too dangerous. And if you don't really need it, better cut off the sharp tip by pressing it with nice metal scissors gently and rotating a few times. Then just snap it and sand a little, and you get a much safer and nicer to work with tool.

Great video and content. The light and camera view (focal length) made it impossible to see the details that you were mentioning (like the film door open tab/lever). Please include a drawing or sketch or magnified picture to show the details you were talking about. It made sense to you, but to someone trying for the first time it can be very confusing. I love Camera Rescue and what you guys are doing! Keep up the great work! I tell other people about your projects and support you, even though I don’t have the money to buy the wonderful cameras (and gear) you sell.

I used the rotary paper trimmer at work to cut super thin lengths of seal from a sheet.

Love this video! I went out and bought a rotary cutter. This seems like the perfect way to cut the seals. Can anybody help with this... The recommended glue is not available in the United States. Does anybody have a recommendation on a good glue for this task? Hopefully a glue that only has to be put in the groove and not on the seal and in the groove. Thanks!! OH.. I also bought syringes and dental tips used for tooth irrigation. Now all I need is an adhesive. Please Help.
