I like it a lot. I do though think the title implies you are instructing the viewer as a how to tutorial, not just showing the product. Please be more exact with titles in the future.

I've got all the parts but cannot frind a narrow enough belt in South Africa. Any ideas you can give?

I would look to change the slider to some roller bearings. Something other than a notched belt to drive it would be ideal. There are some clips where you can easily see where each tooth had shook the camera. This build is great with a few small flaws ironed out. I like it!

hallo! klasse Idee! wenn du den Zahnriemen noch etwas strammer bekommst dann wird die bewegung komplett flüssig. optional vllt sogar eine kette verwenden. aber das Ergebnis kann sich echt schon sehen lassen!

Bei bauteilen die solch geringen belastungen ausgesetzt sind läuft die laufkatze auf einem trockengleitlager aus teflon bzw polymer gleitbuchsen, das ist viel günstiger als ein kugellager, auch wenn das eher in ein technikforum gehört ;)

Sehr gut. Kompliment! Auch vielen dank, dass sie ihr Wissen in Form von den Links mit allen teilen. Ich bin selbst gerade dabei einen motorisierten Slider zu bauen. Wären sie noch so nett mir zu verraten, mit welchem akku sie ihr system betreiben?.. evtl angaben über Laufzeit. Wenn der Motor die AX2000 problemlos schafft sollte die Kraft wohl auch für eine Zahnradübersetzung reichen um die Geschwindigtkeit noch ein wenig zu drosseln

tolle Idee...sag mal läuft die Kamera auf dem Slider 100% ruckelfrei? Das ist bei einem KZbin Video ja nur schlecht zu beurteilen...in dem Video jedenfalls sieht es so aus als würde der Motor die Kamera nicht wirklich gleichmäßig bewegen...danke für dein Feedback

Geniale Idee! Hab ich nachgebaut! Ich habe noch eine kleine Erweiterung dazugenommen: Endabschalter auf beiden Seiten, so kann man bei einer langsamen Fahrt auch mal nebenbei was anderes machen, ohne dass der Motor den Schlitten über die Welle zieht!! Wie hast du die Schiene auf den Stativen befestigt?

Way too little tension on the belt. Smaller gear ratio wouldn't harm either. Apart from that: good build!

Wow, that is pretty cool! ..to see thru the eye but, as it too, changes position relative to the subject and realtime as the leaves are also moving in the wind abit, dynanamically and 'animated,' alive virtually, so to speak, as it's moving picture replica model & not really the real thing here, I mean as immediately it is there, exisitenially relative to the camera & the photographer. I am a noobie. I am trying to learn what is happening, with stuff like: pan, dolly, zoom, zolly shots ect thxu
