Sounds like you might be on beat saber 1.34.2. The latest release as of this comment. There's a chance Camera2 is not currently approved/tested for the version. Personally I'm still playing on 1.29.1. There's not enough mods to make me update my game yet. If you are on steam, you can right click your game, go to properties > betas > and select the legacy branch that is currently available if you want to go back.

06:49 Effects Tab Enable transparency in that tab and play with the threshold. If you'd like, also play with the 03:53 Visibility Tab to only leave the avatar or maybe avatar + sabers on the camera. Lastly, but probably not needed, could also click the render distance buttons at the bottom of the tab or manually configure the distance in the config file itself for the specific camera. Note: There's a "Facecam" preset (menu shown at 10:02) if you'd like to try it.

Various videos I see may show their camera switching to a different camera or angle mid song. Setting up those hot keys to switch scenes seems like my best bet to pull off the same thing. While playing a song, is it possible to have someone sitting at my keyboard so I can have them use the hot keys to switch the cameras?
@FEFELAND2 жыл бұрын
That's totally possible as long as your game is in focus :D (click on the window) What you're asking is basically what I do on stream. People can redeem channel point rewards while I'm playing. These rewards translate to keys F2-F15 being pressed on my setup, depending on what camera people want to switch to. Side note: The way I switch cameras for my map previews here on KZbin is via video editing, not switching angles on the fly.

@@solt_main > So all this mods work only on beta (pre-update) version? - I'm not entirely sure what works and what doesn't work post unity upgrade (1.29.4+). I check the Beatmods website every now and then (where ModAssistant pulls from) to see what shows up. I usually update my game fairly quickly to the latest version and try to throw older mods in to see if they work fine. But I haven't done that yet this time around since it was a larger change to the game. TL:DR: Some work, some might not. I'm still waiting longer to update. I don't think ScoreSaber or BeatLeader are even up yet. > Do you have some methods to avoid dmca issues on YT and Twitch? Not really. That's just the nature of playing a rhythm game and playing custom maps with popular music. "Then how do people stream on twitch and are immune?" To which I answer, oh we're not immune. Some of us simply don't care. KZbin immediately slaps you with a copyright claim, but it's usually fine. Whoever claimed it just takes the money from you is what I understand. Which, whatever it's fine. On Twitch some people delete their vods after or use the "VOD track" option to mute the game in the vod but not while live. And yeah, VR is still pretty smol in comparison hah. Either the price of entry for the tech (though.. I guess thanks meta for the cheap...er headset) or the ability for people to stomach the content. Either playing or even just watching. I've always been thankful of being immune to motion sickness, never had an issue on any game. Though one area in a modded VR game took me a sec to get used to hah. But others get sick simply watching other's VR content on a flat screen. I love VR though, it’s where I spend most of my gaming time as of late. I’ve been enjoying LOTS of modded to VR games on twitch. Need to post some of that stuff here.

Hello! I was wondering if there was a way to move the first person camera down? Right now, the closest thing I can get is to move it back and angle it downwards a bit, but it doesn't quite look the way I want it to. I know I could use a positionable camera, but I still want it to be tied to my head movement. Do you know if there is any particular reason that the z offset can be changed, but not the x or y offset? Also, my sabers seem INCREDIBLY smoothed out. Like, I can see the tips wiggle a bunch in my headset during swings, but the movements seem super smooth on my monitor. I can't find any sort of settings related to that, and I don't even know if it's from this mod. Do you happen to know what might be causing this? Thanks!
@FEFELAND Жыл бұрын
First question: Yes you can totally position the first person camera where ever you want. Example: 12:36 is a first person camera that has been moved. You can see it still bounces with the head. in-game it only allows you to adjust the Z offset (2:46) and the X rotation (3:01). But if you head over to your camera file under (Beat Saber\UserData\Camera2\Cameras\CamName.json) and edit the json with Notepad (or Notepad++ is my preferred) You'll be able to find "targetPos" at the bottom of the text. There you'll see the X,Y,Z values that you can set to whatever you want. You can edit while the game is running. All you have to do is save the file, click back into the game and hit "ctrl + shift + F1"(5:01) to reload your cameras. If that wasn't clear enough, feel free to send me a discord dm or something hah. Second question: Your saber that is incredibly smoothed out. I don't think Camera2 can control what your saber looks like (aside form just hiding it). Are you perhaps using ReeSabers and you have the motion smoothing option on?
@shatteredskies191 Жыл бұрын
Thanks a lot! I wonder why that isn't an option to do from in game. I've never even heard of ReeSabers, so I guess I'll have to keep looking. I *know* my swings aren't that straight XD

@FEFELAND Жыл бұрын
Like I say at 12:01, it uses a transparent camera with orthographic view + one of Naluluna's patreon mods. "Naluluna Slice Visualizer". The free regular 2D "slice visualizer" has not been updated to my knowledge sadly and neither has "Dibris". But you might be able to achieve a similar effect using a new free mod released recently (though it doesn't look as good). Enable debris on your transparent camera. (Just the camera, not player options). Then with the "Debris Tweaks" mod (found on the modding discord) use these settings: Velocity Multiplier: 0 Drag: 15 Enable Gravity: off/disabled Prevent rotations: On/Enabled

@@DarkSaber-1111 "Can it be used for pc oculus then?" If you own the game on pc (Oculus or steam) and connect your quest (with link cable/air link/ etc..), then yes, you can use it like any other mod. "Anything recommended for quest 2?" I couldn't say since I don't own a quest. If you wanted to record replays smoothly, your best bet would have been the replay mod. But I don't know that it has been updated. Scoresaber can upload quest replays that can later be viewed on the pc version of the game though. Viewing replays with scoresaber on quest is not supported yet.
