Let's talk about the cameras that caught my attention in 2024 for video.

Speaking about the above memory card that I mentioned. I own the 5D Mark IV, which recorded in MJPEG codec when it did 4K. This codec recorded in 500mbps. Which means that it recorded in about 60 Megabytes per second. This card could handle it. It is great!!!! Just thought I'd share!!!

I hope the R5 MKII will also have 3x base ISO. Also it could have a DR around 15 steps (with the new BSI sensor). In your case I would go for the R5 MKII. Now if there will also come a R5C MKII with internal ND-FILTERS, then this could be the go for body... I just hope an R5C MKII will also have IBIS. But I guess after you'll buy the R5 MKII, there will come a firmware update to remove the 30-minute lim of the R5 😉, but the R5 MKII will be significantly better than the R5, so I don't think this will be a problem, and you could keep the R5 as a B-body.
