Thank you. I’m interested to get a camera like this if they also bring their rear LCD up in resolution and flexibility like the one on my A7RV. Ended up replacing my A7IV with the excellent A7CII for light weight and flexibility for travel and a small backup but still would like the improved camera to pair with it. Take care.

Some imo important issue no one talks about. I hope Sony finally comes with over exposure warning in full-screen play back mode (instead of that unusable mode with tiny image + levels next to it). Way back my Canon SLR's showed the clipping full-screen as it should. I need to see in 1 look if my strobe overexposed the model and at the same time i want to judge general composition, if eyes are open or closed etc, without having to change view modes and thus losing contact with the model. These things really matter every single day. And no... zebra mode is something totally different. I trust the camera handling the ambient.

I wouldn't mind it being 3000$ but anything above that would absolutely crush my soul. The a7ii was 1700$, the a7iii was 2000$, the a7iv was 2500$. Looking at the incremental price increase, it's possible it'll be 3000$+, but at that point, I'd much rather have the a7rv. I hope they can price it really well.

And when will the Sony A7000 with Sony´s 40 megapixels APSC sensor arrive ? When will the Sony A7RVI with 93 megapixels arrive ?, when will we see the 33x44mm sensor with 157 megapixels ?

The real issue will be battery life. Long distance hiking requires good batteries. because recharging isn't possible a couple of days.

This is true that Sony doesn’t have a Nikon z8 type of all purpose hybrid camera, that can be used both for sports as well as landscape equally efficiently. This is really a deal breaker even its superior autofocus capability, to save cost. 😢Sony should realise money is a matter in present world where smartphones are offering all purpose uses.

@@Marcus_Visbal absolutely Agree, but A1 is a step advance than z8. I am waiting for an updated a7r3 with z8 features. Excellent camera but unfortunately not realised by Sony. It was a great balance between price resolution and features at that point of time. Very decent file size unlike the mega 61mp one. But sufficient for most landscape, portraits and wildlife cropping.
