Cameron Britton Thought About Killing His Mom While Filming 'Mindhunter'

The premise of Netflix’s Mindhunter isn’t exactly light - two FBI agents plumb the psychological depths of infamous serial killers. So while Cameron Britton was portraying serial killer Ed Kemper for nine months, he had a hard time stepping away from the role.
At Vulture Festival, Britton shared a horrifying anecdote about when his mom came to visit him and he thought about killing her. Talk about getting into character.

So I've watched the full series at least twice. It is one of those shows that is just flawless, even though you don't follow serial killers or violence. Then this week I finally watched some reaction clips of Hamilton, focusing on Goff, who looked familiar, but I was too caught up by the performance to make the connection. 3 days later I see we might finally get season 3 of Mind Hunter, and I was so excited!!! Then I looked at Jonathan Goff and nearly fainted. Holy. Crap. Seriously, I've been pushing for another season of Mind Hunter, and Diablaros on Netflix. .
