Cameron calls for crime intelligence unit's transformation

Parliament's newly-appointed chairperson of the Portfolio Committee on Police Ian Cameron says there's an urgent need to transform the crime intelligence unit. He's calling for the unit to be turned into a 'potent crime-fighting tool' and for an end to underfunding the sector. Cameron gives more details.

This is why people cant have nuanced and stimulating discussions about important things anymore. Its all about rageporn and clicks. That question was not remotely relative to what was being discussed - a cheap shot to get views. Journalists are supposed to report the news not generate it - at least that's how it used to be.
