I am sorry but I disagree. The reason being called racist still holds power is because racism is a serious and harmful issue that affects real lives. While some may misuse the term, this doesn't diminish the real experiences of those who suffer from discrimination. Take the Windrush scandal for example. It exposed systemic racism within government institutions. The wrongful detention and deportation of black British citizens highlighted how deeply ingrained racial biases can have devastating effects on people's lives. Instead of dismissing accusations of racism outright, shouldn't we be critically examining each situation to understand whether there's a valid basis? How can we ensure that real issues of discrimination are addressed if we dismiss all claims as overuse?

I was born in England, lived in America for most of my life. 31 year law enforcement career, mothers English and lives there and I guarantee that if I got of the plane without my passport going to visit my 81 year old mother I would not be let into the country. Nor would I expect to be. Somebody in Government has allowed your immigration agency to allow that to happen and that is indeed a crime. Bravo to this group for speaking the truth. America was built on the backs of immigration, but there is a stark difference between the controlled legal routes so people can be vetted, background checked, and want to make better lives for themselves. The open border unchecked flow of illegal immigrants who have no money, no skills, no health records, no housing and don't speak the language are not going to be productive to society.
