“I don't even own a TV because I think it's the devil. I'm very happy with the way I look. I wake up some morning, catch myself in the bathroom mirror, and go, 'hey girl, you're alright'. But on the other hand, I find the website stuff, and the polls, something completely removed from my own personal life. You can't take anything like that too seriously, otherwise you'd end up in the loony bin.” -Cameron Diaz

The DailyMail had an article on her yesterday. She was out with her daughter and husband. I finished the article and I started reading the comments. I was so shocked by the comments that I had to go back and look at the pictures. I didn’t see anything unusual about her appearance. The comments were so nasty about her looks, how she had lost her looks, was way past her prime, about how she was never pretty in the first place. Sorry to repeat the nasty comments here, I was really surprised about how vile people were about her appearance. I don’t understand it. She’s beautiful to me.

Not many people mention it but I have always thought Cameron’s roll in the Mask showed her the absolute prettiest. The costuming, lighting, makeup, hair color she was stunning.
@dorothy6361
@dorothy6361 10 ай бұрын
Agreed - She never looked quite that beautiful again. I think it was more than the production though. I think it was her youth and the little bit of baby fat she still had on her face. If you look at her face in that film versus her face in Something About Mary, it's like her face is not even the same shape. Her jawline/chin sharpened a lot after that movie, which could be a loss of weight or just what happens with age.

@@dorothy6361yes! I agree! I always thought she looked stunning in The Mask! And I, too, feel the reason for that was her weighing a bit more than she did in subsequent movies.

Cameron Diaz was DEFINITELY the 90s It Girl. But, beyond being the 90s It Girl, she is REALLY a beautiful and talented actress. Her talent has carried her past this phase. I loved her in The Mask, My Best Friend's Wedding, My Sister's Keeper, Charlie's Angels, the Shrek films, What Happens in Vegas, Annie and Vanilla Sky. ❤💙

I've always liked Cameron Diaz. She's a beautiful woman and talented actress who never took herself seriously. A rarity in Hollywood. She had famous boyfriends -- Matt Dillon, Justin Timberlake, Alex Rodriguez. I felt that she never played the Hollywood game and was genuine. As she matured, she wanted true love and found it. She wanted a family and a real life. She's now blessed with all of that. I admire her wanting to protect that. I loved her in "There's Something About Mary" and hope she returns to movies one day. 💙💙

I didn’t watch the video yet but I did wonder what made Cameron so cautious (instead of paranoid). At first I thought it was dealing with “curse” film sets…but now I wonder if she experience her own nightmare with Hollyweird and didn’t want to talk about it. JF begged her to do the film, and soon as he started tripping…she went back home. Tbh I don’t blame her.

Not going to lie. I am at the place where I question how any gorgeous top level actress in Hollywood became that successful without submitting to the infamous casting couch. Struggling with not drawing conclusions that thr majority of them traded any level of self respect for becoming in a sense- prostitutes for fame and fortune. I have garnered a high level of respect for Cameron that goes beyond her acting career- more so because of her prioritizing her family first. I am so relieved that she again stepped away from that ratchedness to regain her sense of peace for herself by putting the interests of her family ahead of everything else. So glad Jamie in his own way reminded her of that!

I love being a full time mom. If I had the finance to be a full time mom for the rest of my life, I'd do it in a heartbeat. Good for her 💙

Not only is she an amazing actress, she is also a humble actress. There’s never any scandals surrounding her and she’s always been a natural beauty. Never fell into the pressure of having tons of plastic surgery and has aged gracefully and beautifully.

The Mask, Charlie's Angels, The Holiday, and Bad Teacher will always be my favorite movies of hers. And her voice as Fiona in Shrek as well. Didn't know she was a model before getting into acting 💙💙

I loved her in the mask. Her looks were unmatched and unique. I think her nose job completely changed the structure of her face. She’s still gorgeous she just never looked the same to me after that🩵🩵🩵

She was so great in "there's something about Mary," but my favorite movie has to be "The Other Woman". I recently saw her on the Rachel Ray show, and she seems so down to earth and chill.

💙 Being John Malcovich is my fave movie of hers. Love that you used the word 'sacked'. Not heard an American use that before, loved that girl.
