Cameron says everything I feel inside. I actually got teary-eyed watching this. The pressures of society to look abnormally younger (and I stress the word abnormally) as we get older is actually really depressing and quite stressful, which if you think about it is in and of itself aging to the body. As a 43 yo, I love Cameron more than ever for speaking out and owning and loving who she really is, she's is absolutely my heroine.

This book is fantastic. Though Diaz has written it to empower women most of the content is applicable to all. And I'm a guy.. 5 stars

An absolutely excellent book.Read it a few years ago and it is really fantastic. Highly recommend reading this, plus "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" too. Both books are bibles for women.

I think its harder for attractive women to go through aging because they live on attention and here diaz is trying her utmost to present a perkier self when truthfully she is terrified of not being youthful and attractive. She only has her pets to validate her. Saying that though i still like her shes likeable but she needs to be more honest especially when she encourages u to be yourself
