I have a pocket 4k and was wondering how the broadcast g2 would match up. Seems like they pair up nicely. How did you rig up the URSA for this weeding (shoulder mounted, monopod, etc)?

Thanks for your comment! I ran it shoulder mounted with the included shoulder pad, as well as handheld at the waist under the arm. I had a follow focus on the side of the lens with rails, as well as a smallrig mattebox. Very minimal rig!

@@Victor-Rojas Sigma 18-35 on the URSA, Canon 50mm 1.8 with Viltrox speed booster on Pocket 4K, Black Promist 1/4 on both!

How are you finding the broadcast g2?

It’s great! The biggest let down is the lower frame rates compared to the regular URSA G2, but all the basic functionality is the same. I really wish they pushed it to 6K 60fps (it caps at 6K 50fps) or even if it had 4K downsampling from the Super 35 6K sensor crop, because at 4k the image is cropped a good bit more than 6k. The image and color pairs excellently with other BM cameras as expected. The regular G2 does have more dynamic range, but I don’t find the dynamic range lacking in any way on the Broadcast G2 or the Pocket 4K. In fact both cameras continue to blow me away with their dynamic range.

@@laneganfilmco1656 Very nice work! We recently picked up a set of the G2s as well. I've found that in the 4k or even 1080 mode, on the second page in that menu you can set the "sensor area" to still use the 6k size so you don't have the crop, albeit you can't get those higher frame rates like 60p. I almost freaked out when I thought you couldn't shoot with the full sensor area unless you are in 6k mode, boy am I relieved! We also picked up the Sigma 18-35 2.7. Great little lens! With use of the Sensor Area setting to crop in, It makes that lens even more versatile!

@@laneganfilmco1656 You're very welcome! Trust me. I had that same thought! Haha. Do you mind telling me what kind of extension arm you are using as apart of your shoulder rig?

@@mattcordero6764 Actually none, just the factory shoulder pad ((painful)) the lens, and 15mm rails with a manual follow focus. I did have a smallrig handle clamped onto the rod for an extra grip though
