One thing to remember when welding, check your square before EACH weld. As the metal in the joints cools itll contract and throw off your square. Just something to keep in mind.

Man ive been here since the speed days and tbh no one on KZbin has been able to consistently put high quality content like this. Keep it up your gonna boom like bitcoin homie !

We had an outdoor lift at our shop! We moved our hydraulic fluids, lifter and fuses all inside the building. Just to protect from weathering!
@alexshepler4033 жыл бұрын
at 14:08 you mentioned that you need to fix the lighting cause there are black bars, but what you need to do is put the camera in TV mode and adjust the dial on the camera until they stop. I help out at a church with their filming and that is something I have to deal with a lot. Sadly sometimes the perfect setting is in between two values so you will get a hint of that but you should be able to get rid of that in post.

Such a sick setup love it, I’d still be sketched out on ramps being held up only there I’d get some 45 degree brackets 3/4 feet long on each side all around and bolt it to floor as well so it can’t fall over if concrete were to crack or anything

I’m glad you have a lift now because they make life so much easier, but I feel like this is starting a new chapter. Now that you have a lift, it’s a pretty different because most people don’t have a lift so there is a little disconnect between a majority of the audience because it’s a little less building confidence in the garage, and a little more building confidence in the shop. As always tho, great content and keep it up, I’m looking forward to the subi build

I can’t remember if you already have one but a big ol wash sink would be a good second to the parts washer. Also Cameron Niemelau sells a dope tutorial on how to add a heating element to the HF parts washer. I love mine it’s nice to have the heated water/cleans greasy faster 👌🏾 awesome vid dude. Lol so many car KZbinrs don’t even have lifts or tig welders I’m jealous !!! Ur fufilling dreams mad inspo!

Never knew you could set up a lift outside like that. I know you’re in Arizona but how does it hold up against weather. Asking because I have a driveway with no garage

This is the best channel on youtube. Inspired me to start my own, Also what video editor do you use?
@CameronAlford3 жыл бұрын
I use Final Cut Pro X, my homie Justin who’s been helping me edit the last couple weeks uses Adobe Premiere. We’re transitioning into Final cut full time tho because it’s so much faster for simple editing on KZbin videos

Cool video and love the stuff you guys are doing! Be careful when welding those casters though. If that’s galvanized, welding it will create zinc oxide fumes that can straight up kill you

- fume collector for welder - anchor bottom of wall to concrete next to man-door - velcro zip ties are nice for cable management - awning on top of car lift for rain and sun - lock camera frame rate to eliminate black bars, if that's what you mean
