hey cameron, good job on the detail, but for the ceramic coating part you were supposed to cover the applicator block with the small little microfiber cloths that were included in the box. also for the cure time, you were supposed to wait for it to haze, not wipe it off immediately. i did this same exact ceramic coating on my veloster n it’s amazing

Little weird here but before I joined the army, I worked at a dealership cleaning and detailing cars. Use steel wool for water spots on windows. Obviously no other part of the car. But for the windows, it worked well. Glad to see you appreciating the color more. My coupe si is blue but that gunmetal almost sold me

Paint corrected and ceramic coated by car in the summer and probably the best thing I've done! Makes cleaning the car so easy!

It's good to see you learn new tips as you did more and more passes. It reminded me of the first time I started paint correcting. The best way to learn is from doing it yourself. I'm glad you took my recommendation and went with the Maguire's ultimate compound and polish. The paint correction turned out really well and the car looks so much better now. Great content. Looks great , bro you should use gloves to ceramic coat and you need to let it haze turns like rainbow color then wipe

To get rid of the deeper scratches, try using a wet sanding pad then go back over with the cutter and polisher

when you do an area with the coating you want to wait for the coating too crystal then wipe! also rock with an A towel and B towel for wiping down

The ceramic comes with suede little pieces that go over the foam when you do it lol I use the same stuff and your supposed to wipe it off when it flashes different color

Never use the applicator block with no applicator swede on it. Also you did not show wiping the panels with alcohol after polishing

@@Camhill182 short answer not the result specifically the car came out amazing. Now the durability of cquartz is about 12-18 months. If you apply it without using an IPA solution (eraser, igl precoat, gtechniq panel prep) that durability can be reduced to half the time or less and not using applicator swedes on the block just makes you waste a lot of product. A 50ml bottle should do two decent size cars.

Ceramic coating my blue 2020 Si worked great! Except I would advise against using that Goo Be Gone stuff cause I used it after the ceramic coating, and it basically stains the ceramic coating layer... tough to come off...

For what I've known is that if you finished and there's still little marks left, you just need to up the speed for more cut. However, the result looks amazing.
