The train departing sounds like a 317, 350 and a 378 put together

@@joesneddon2017 actually, if you look closely you can see that the orange exterior lights are still illuminated on the other carriages, which indicates that the doors were closing due the auto close feature. This feature closes any open doors automatically after a set time to keep the climate in the train pleasant, but passengers can still open them using the button, as indicated in the video when the door open button illuminated green when the door close sequence started. This man who held the door did not delay the train, and you can see that at the end of the video when all the orange lights extinguish, indicating that the driver closed them.

@@transportflick923 Ah. My bad. Didn’t see. Thought he was holding the train up.

Situations like 1:32 is what the third guard bell on Queensland Rail trains is for. I recorded something not-to-dissimilar happening at Petrie (though in my take, the commuters who held the door turned up just as the doors closed)
@thetraincrazykid4 жыл бұрын
@bob It is possible to give the bell as the units are fitted with guards panels in certain coaches, ThamesLink however have no use for them, and are only used when locking out a train.

@Rob I believe thameslink have revenue staff on-board occasionally, however not all the time.

I'm intending to make a compilation of videos about this train, could I use your video giving proper credits to create this compilation?

How come all the desiros have comfortable seats apart from the 700?

stupid dft regulation that came in around 2015-2016 or so (i forgot) that forces tocs to use ironing board seats
Why do these UK based Siemens have the clunky inset doors vs. the sleek externally glazed, low glass line, units one sees on the same model in other countries?
@wisehat_yt4 жыл бұрын
some siemens trains have those pop out sliding doors, the train featured in this video has the sliding pocket doors (doors that slides into the middle of the body when opened) for faster & efficient boarding & alighting

These trains are designed for more metro-like services. There are other desiros in the UK with plug doors.
