They wouldn’t be wrong. It’s just an unfortunate fact of life that when you pour money into a car/bike you’re not going to get that money back out of it. Obviously this would be worth a little bit note than blue book due to the condition being like new and having new parts. But there’s no way you’d get anywhere close to the value back out of this bike

Cam, hats off to you for being so straightforward. I hope when I get my new place and the shop I want to do something similar to this. I've always wanted to do this, sans the online storefront but working and restoring bikes is always been something I have been passionate about. Still need to get some more items, like a bigger air compressor and sandblasting and an old oven but this definitely helps push to make those goals a reality. Gotta say I lost all my inspiration for anything like this the second you ended the video with “take care” instead of “keep it prime”. I really though highly of you and now, idk what to think. Haha In all seriousness, I started a CR250 build in January as my first top to bottom project which led me to watch some of your vids, to watching every new one come out while being subscribed. I just sold that bike for a loss of about $400 but am so stoked because it was the fun of constantly thinking about what I’d do next to make progression, and the feeling of firing it up for the first time and ripping it down the road to selling it. Money doesn’t matter when you have a blast and learn a boatload of sweet stuff about these insane machines. Major props to you man, keep it prime!

2 days ago I snagged a 07 KX250F for $729 it runs and rides after 25 mins of trying to start. It needs alot of TLC that I'm willing to give her but not looking to exceed $2K. After I get frustrated with her for the day I always look over and pull out the CRF450R to put that smile back on my face

Absolutely love your bike! The most beautiful CR250 ever. Thanks for running us through the whole bike. It’s so clean and trick I wouldn’t dare to ride it. All that hard work getting destroyed by dirt and rocks.

I think the coolest part about this besides all of the obvious things people point out, is the point that you dont need the latest and greatest bike to be happy. Both this dudes bikes are over a decade old just restored and it helps me cope lol

That was really illuminating. Throughout this build I was thinking this guy is nuts. Well, no. Makes perfect sense when you explain your funding and motivation. Turning a 16 year old bike into a work of art is silly for the average person. But for you it is a sales and promotional tool and we who can see and appreciate that absolutely stellar finished product are the winners. Thank you and may your hard work bring you the success you deserve.

Holy sweet baby Jesus that is a beautiful bike. I love seeing bikes, sleds, 4 wheelers ect. Treated with so much love and respect. To many people treat their machines like garbage, and it breaks my heart. For me they are so much more then just a machine they bring me so much joy and happiness and become an important part of my life something you end up building an attachment to. Beautiful thing seeing this bike being brought back to life. Subbed great content!

Did the same thing with my 03 kx250. Got around 14k into it. But I love it. I'll never sell it. Finally got a chance to build my "factory" bike from when I was a kid.

This is an incredible looking bike, the attention to detail and finish of all of the parts is just awesome. And your transparency at the end might be the leg up that some people needed to go out and chase a similar career, so thanks for passing that on!
