+Andrew Cheffy nothing wrong. Push hard with your palms... Use all your weight. They are just very very tough.

Much better tutorial than trying to follow the service manual. Haynes make it sound like far more effort, and it doesn't help when you have to keep jumping between different sections of the book and keep finding the part you need. Thanks :)

the detail in these videos is pretty spot on man. trying to find 07 gsxr 600 videos has been a painstaking process. could you make one on how to remove the rear seat cowl that has the key latch disconnected? i've been looking for the last few hours for one and nothing. i was in a wreck a while back and my cable came loose and i can't get it off. need to put on the new fairings.

I bought a wrecked bike recently and had the same problem, I had to reach in to the mechanism with a coat hanger and pull the latch

Was it not easier to remove the tank altogether, that's what I do, its only few fuel pipes stuck underneath

Definitely would have not left the key in, the kill switch ON with the battery still connected while working on the bike, but a very helpful video regardless.

I replaced my plugs and the plug threads were really wet. Why would they be wet with oil? Leaking journals?

You could get down your tank unscrewed one bold and undo few hoses to have work free area, but good job anyway...... ;-)

Before you try tgis and get the whole bike tore up pkease have a rubber inserted spark plug remover i got all the way to the spark pkug only to figure out you cant remove it withlut your own soark plug remover the one in the bike wont eork

The spec is 0.7/0.8 or 9.7/9.8 can’t really hear or see the numbers on the manual book ( don’t have 1 )
