So beautiful our African women/wives, to see them cooking smiling, talking and cooking our childhood Africans foods. I'm from Ivory Coast but we have exactly the the coconut 🥥 delicious snack. God bless you my sister and your family.

Love, love, love how this sweet looks and your explanation was so clear to follow that it tempted me! The way I get the water out of the coconut is finding which one of the “coconut eyes” is the softest one and then use that gadget to cork the wine bottles. Drill a hole and shake the coconut to get the water out. Easy! That way you don’t waste the water and make no mess.

Three years ago on a busy road of Dhaka, I bought this toasted coconut flakes from a random hawker. I still cannot forget the taste of it. Searched everywhere else to get that again, but nobody makes it as good as that vendor did. Now, after watching your video, I think I can make it at home from now on.

Oh my my. One word I can describe this lady is that Precious is indeed precious. In my country it is called sugar cake. It's boiled with so much sugar that causes it to stick together. We also add spices to it. Trust me I prefer your recipe because it doesn't carry much sugar. I have a coconut and home and I am going to make this one. Thank you precious

I bought a packet of 'coconut sweet' from the 'afro' shop just yesterday for my kids and was tempted to taste it. I cannot begin to tell you how disappointed I was. The coconut sweet was not sweet, it felt like I was eating sand. Don't ask me how or why. Infact, that coconut sweet gave me a business idea. I couldn't believe I had just spent 1,99€ for 60g of trash. Definitely trying your recipe. Was great to watch sis.

A couple questions, how do you pick a good coconut at the store? How long in the microwave to losen it, I have never heard of that.
@PreciousKitchen5 жыл бұрын
Hi, pick a coconut that is heavy with a lot of water inside. That is likely to be good. About the microwave method, microwave on high for 2 minutes. Also, you could skip that and just remove the coconut meat with a small knife but I find that microwaving it makes removing the meat easier. Hope this helps.

U didnt put nut nug
@gne7915 жыл бұрын
Nice try though the water is not to be included cuz if you save it, the crusty nature softens. So I just put the coconut and the sugar all at the same time. To make it more favourable, u can add some nutmeg.
