That’s what my mother did. At church & our schools she was known by our (my father’s) name, but legally and work she kept her maiden name. She remarried and although she said she’s going to change her name this time, it’s been a year lol and she still hasn’t gotten around to it.

Something that spoke so much volume was when you talked about your state of depression at the time and how it could be draining for your sister. That’s so much self reflection and shows just how mature your are. You inspire me and so many others. Thank you for sharing with us!

I just want to add, please never feel guilty if you do end up dating. I know it can feel weird or too soon (it will ALWAYS feel like it's too soon.) My close friend's fiance committed suicide in 2019 and it was a lot to handle. He ended up dating my other best friend this past year though. He's expressed multiple times that he's insecure about it/feels like he moved too fast from his fiance etc. They're happy though and we've reassured him (and will continue to comfort/reassure) that everything he does is at HIS pace and there is nothing to feel guilty for ❤️ Move however you're comfortable with. Whether you meet someone a month from now, or 8 years from now. We support you.

Camryn, I have watched you since Collette was around 2 months old, and Its been a hell of a roller coaster, but its also been such a pleasure watching you blossom in to the person you are today. I literally woke up on my 20th birthday to the heartbreaking news of Landon, and his funeral being on my birthday, it shook me to the core and it just didn't feel real. My first thought was you and the girls, and not being able to fathom what you were all feeling. All the mental health and trauma, I could never imagine what you are going through. BUT, You still got up everyday to your girls and took care of them even when things looked bleak, you have an incredible strength and should be proud of how far you have come from August. 💙💙

I wasn’t a teen mom but I had all three of my kids young and extremely close together. I felt it so deep when she said that she wished she would have waited to have her kids and not for her sake but for the kids. I feel the same way like I was so immature when I was younger and really didn’t fully even grow up until I had my son about 2 years ago and it took a lot. I wish now that I would’ve waited until I was more stable and not just financially but mentally and relationship wise because now I have three kids with pretty much non existent fathers. It’s sad and I wish things were different for them. But she is an amazing single mom❤️
