Take drake off of all of the songs that he’s featured on and see how well or not well those songs would have done. I’m betting the house they don’t do as well. One thing is for sure when you see featuring drake love or hate him people automatically hit play. His name opens up a bigger audience. I hope that’s one thing he’s learned though everybody does not deserve the Drake affect
@MoonMoon-fx1op4 ай бұрын
@@pbewared9540 you obviously don't understand how much Drake needed them just as much. Drake's "style" was played out awhile ago, however he managed to be relevant by adopting whatever style was in. He played the game well, but don't get it twisted.

This was before the beef. You're slow. There is also no proof that Drake did anything out of line.
@jorgeandrespardo9154 ай бұрын
@rainnmoon114 you know there's video of him kissing a minor AFTER she told him she's a minor on stage in a concert. Also, he's a 30 year old reaching out to kids. There's a history of him reaching out to underage celebrities. UNDERAGE actresses, singers and models all seen in his parties and yatch. You're sick for defending him.
@rainnmoon1144 ай бұрын
@jorgeandrespardo915 She was the age of consent in that state (colorado) so no he literally didn't do anything wrong. That SAME GIRL came out the woodwork herself and said that she was not a victim. None of those underage celebrities ever said that Drake was inappropriate with them at all and they all described him as a role model and someone who helped them with their projects. This isn't like R.Kelly where we know for SURE that he's a PDF. You're going off of baseless accusations and trying to end a man's career and get him canceled based off of what? Allegations from a rapper that no one cared about until he dropped unverified tea. 🙄

Yeah lil baby a person who said HELLA wild stuff about blacks but dropped this album based around PURELY black sound… We expect one colonizer to support another 💯…
@ktdagoat12894 ай бұрын
@@iamqaisermunir R&B and Rap.. I mean if wanna get technical EVERY American genre is black sound as we did create it.. But yeah in her case I mean those two genres.. All her feats are black in color minus Kosher… But he’s a white dude rapping street stuff.. So I mean it’s pretty evident…
@ktdagoat12894 ай бұрын
@@iamqaisermunir Ok.. I’ll start with this… If your born rich do you think you’d consider “yeah this what everyone wants”.. Or just assume that’s what everyone has until you see different???? Most likely you’ll assume cause you don’t know.. Yes music is indeed music but it’s not THE SAME.. You don’t hear Andre 3ks new flute album and say “Yep just like Roses”.. Cause it’s not.. Let’s say your from Mexico do you think Bad Bunny makes the same music as Lil Baby??? No they don’t.. And although they both are from poor areas however depending on your region and culture you’ll display that differently… That’s why Latin music weather pop rap anything its classified as LATIN “that”.. The problem with music as a black person is every race is ok to have their OWN culture and sounds.. But for some reason only Black American culture even outside of America, people think they not only not have “Their own ” almost anything.. And others feel they SHOULD have rights to our culture.. A good example is Kendrick Lamar’s pop out concert on Juneteenth.. It was LITERAL Hispanic content creators MAD they weren’t represented enough… That’s like blacks being mad it’s not enough black representation on St Patrick’s day… Nobody would try that with ANY other culture.. Can you name the people NOT of African American decent that’s “revolutionized” R&B or Hip Hop??? No cause thier are none.. Pop culture for instance pop musics new “way” is TRAP sound.. No white person made it.. Just said “that’s catchy let’s sell it to white people” and people act like it NEVER existed before because as I started “They can’t tell you anything they haven’t witnessed before”…
@ktdagoat12894 ай бұрын
@@iamqaisermunir Oh yeah and you can do it.. Same as I can make a Salsa song right?? That doesn’t mean I’m not harming the culture if I took a salsa beat, ONLY spoke English and said “Salsas not just for you guys it’s for all of us cause I can make it to I will”… And oh yeah you are black.. Not literally black cause you MUST understand MAJORITY of blacks are BROWN.. Black is just the American way of saying “you have color to you”… I myself am brown.. Your people say brown pride and beyond that your people didn’t just make themselves.. They say and have MAJOR similarities to “blacks”.. Including pyramids, color, saying we come from the stars and claiming those visitors stayed amongst them for periods… While I find no love in making others seem inferior I also see no wrongs in having pride in who you are and speaking and knowing truth.. In life you SEEK THE TRUTH not move on how you FEEL.. That’s the quickest way to end up stuck in the rat race…
@ktdagoat12894 ай бұрын
@@iamqaisermunir Nah I agree somewhat.. But we have to admit if I paint the Mona Lisa it’s not CALLED the Mona Lisa.. It’ll be called a IMITATION of the Mona Lisa.. Cause it’s NOT.. And if you attempt to make it a 1 of 1 version and say “buy this it’s the Mona Lisa” they’ll say it’s counterfeit cause we KNOW and acknowledge the creator… Again sounds have variations that’s very correct however in ANY case we don’t say “that doesn’t belong to them it’s universal”… Em is a white guy raised in DETROIT.. He’s grown up in poor places his whole life and chilled with almost NOBODY of whiteness.. Em is overrated due to EXACTLY what you said… White people see HES white then say “Yeah that’s our culture too cause he’s white”… That’s incorrect cause MAJORITY of white Americans won’t GO to Detroit let alone be born and raised there… But the MAIN thing I’m pointing out is stop trying to make something universal that’s not.. Musics universal FORSURE.. But not all GENRES are.. Each race has its own style and always did.. As I said I CAN do Salsa music HOWEVER it would be VERY offensive to people of that lineage to say “well I liked it so I just did my own and it’s cause musics universal”… No bs brother.. That’s LITERALLY colonizer talk.. It’s the same as discovering a place.. Meeting natives.. They say “Yeah we from here and like how we have things going”… And the visitors say “But lands for EVERYONE it’s universal and all those customs you have??? Yeah ours too”… Also it’s not inspired by OLD black music.. As I said earlier the CURRENT “pop” trend is TRAP.. Made circa 2001 and STILL the most relevant sound in rap.. My point is most music at least coming from and targeting the western audience IS based on black sound then adding some type of difference.. Meanwhile as I said Country, Rock, Jazz, Rap ALL where made by blacks and others steal the sound by saying “Oh it’s Pop” which is LITERALLY short for POPULAR MUSIC.. Also I’d just like to iterate my main point is Camila has MANY comments on blacks.. The one the comes to mind is “Black people better be glad nigger rhymes with nigger or they dumb selves wouldn’t be able to make music”… And now her she is using people of that race and even in the case of the city girls was fine when they did it for her album.. It’s a colonizers mentality if I’ve ever seen one, and it’s just not her admittedly and even happens with others of color who do it too (hence why people saying Drakes a culture vulture now).. Don’t get me wrong also I don’t think you CANT make music from other cultures HOWEVER you should acknowledge it’s not yours and you should only do it if you have UNDERSTANDING of that culture your jumping into..
@ktdagoat12894 ай бұрын
@@iamqaisermunir @reallyqaiser Where did I say that once???? I'm saying use whats distinct to YOUR culture to replicate that, cause THATS how you create NEW things.. But no and again you (keep avoiding this topic as a whole cause you know it would be weird in real life).. But if someone did that with ANY other culture you'll admit that although you CAN do it you shouldn't unless you at least have a understanding of those people.. And those small changes make COMPLETELY different sounds.. Thats why its jazz samples in rap that CLEARLY arent jazz and a different tone.. Just adding words and speeding or slowing up a beat is rap... Have you heard black to white versions of like 70s rock songs??? Its could be WORD FOR WORD the same but the beats or ways they changed them made MAJOR changes and most accepted it when you DID make songs that way cause thats a INTERPOLATION and not just stealing someone's work.. Also I think the biggest flaw with "universal" logic here is simply you dont get if EVERYONE can just hop on waves rather than create then EVERYTHING becomes the same.. And thats why music starting to sound so boring cause now a days people like yourself feel others somehow not only CAN but HAVE ALL RIGHTS to the black sounds we create.. Therefore your not trying to create your own very much.. Even before we had black and white you identify as your REGION and that had its OWN ways and customs.. Its just music to you cause again your people didn't make it to not only express themselves but also spread the message of what our own government was doing to harm us..
