I watched the whole funeral. The children were amazing. We as adults forget that even though they are royals, they are still children. Any long, drawn out event can be trying on any child, including very well behaved royal children. Catherine handled things very well.

The two children behaved very well! For still very young ones to be at their Granny's funeral, and do so fittingly is superior for their ages! Personally i don't think that a funeral is the place for children at all and this funeral was a more long drawn out process than normal. I can understand that Prince William and Catherine are trying to ease their children into these important ceremonies, but the two children were extremely well behaved during this extremely long day and night to follow. Yes the new King has lost his mother and is trying so hard to follow in her footsteps of being stoic, but he is an adult aware of the various protocols and sense of duties, he's had 73 years to get to grips with that so vitally important day. These two babes haven't even reached double figures, but they're not only learning all the things other children up and down the land are doing, but they are also being schooled in royal etiquette and protocol. Back off all the doomers on these bairns and celebrate just how well they did throughout a trying day and days before hand

She has not been coronated yet and at the funeral Charles had not been either. So Princess Charlotte preceding her from the car was perfectly in line with royal etiquette.

Absolutely. On a tour to N. Canada, she and KC were being entertained by Inuit throatsingers, a very admired talent in the culture. Both Camilla and KC looked at one another, barely able to contain themselves;Camilla kept covering her face and was visibly shaking with stifled laughter! While this form of entertainment might appear odd to outsiders, you would think a couple of adults in their position could have behaved in a more respectful way. Frankly, it was embarrassing and they should have felt ashamed of themselves.
