Hi everyone welcome back to my channel. So I was very disappointed in Camille Rose's leave-in product it seriously ruined my hair and made it get chunky couldn't run my fingers through my hair it just sat on top of it even tho I had put water and drenched my hair before applying it! made my hair super itchy, and patchy and left a white cast on my hair. this is my first hair review video and I wanted to be very honest with you guys. if you know any way to make it better because I feel like I've tried it all. please let me know because I don't want to throw a whole bottle away.

Ruined my hair, curls are gone. Dry scalp and really dry hair. It's awful

I've only tried their twisting butter for twists and it works okay, sounds like the leave-in is a bit of a dud.

ill try it for twisting, but im still not a fan of the butter but lets see!

I guess the first question would be what you want the product for? for styling? or to be used a a leave in prior to styling?

i wanted to add hydration and make my curls more defined. but im still learning

@Precious.oseremen oooo I see, then camile rose styling creams def aren't the way to go. I think that finding a good clarifying shampoo, moisturizing shampoo and good conditoner/deep conditioner would be a good start. they are the foundation for getting a good hairstyle at the end of the day. even before focusing on styling products the hair has should be properly cleansed of any buildup

@Precious.oseremen also cleansing more regularly like evry 1-2 weeks. the more often your cleanse with water the more hydrated the hair will be. make sure you use the appropriate cleansers tho! not anything too harsh. I like a lot of Brittany Mia's videos. she has long videos with her hairstylist and they give good tips. I think it'll be really helpful!

@Precious.oseremen properly cleaning the hair first is the key to hydrated hair. then focus on the styling after. Joy-el another youtuber is also great inspiration as well. she does more stretched styles and has 4c hair too

My hair hates aloe so this product sucked on my hair too! Threw it away.

It's a gel. It's not a detangler, it's not a leave in condtioner... Don't comb that through dry hair. Gel goes on freshly shampooed and deep conditioner hair after leave -in conditioner. Preferably use a spray leave-in conditioner from the same brand and line as the gel...otherwise....flake city and white bits. Also Please don't wet your hair with tap water every day especially have you have hard water or water with a high chemical content. Oh and if you have a sensitive scalp like me do not put anything on your scalp but shampoo and a scalp mist that you get from a professional like a dermatologist or trichologists. Good luck. I've been 15 years natural and before that, I was 10 years relaxed and 5 years natural.

I've realised now that its a gel! 😂 my mistake, ill see if i can use it for when i do my twists who knows might work better then 😂 thanks!

The product you showed is not a leave-in; it's a twisting butter. You might want to try it with the leave-in from the same line. However, not everything works for everyone, and that's fine. To be fair, I don't think this product "ruined" your hair; your hair seems very dry and badly in need of a trim.

lol! dying over here It's not a leave-in conditioner....so.......It's a styling gel people use this to lay their hair down and stop it from frizzing up...over a leave-in conditioner.. I cannot....yeah Google is your friend..into TikTok!! TikTok is going to get so many people killed. Lol! I can't with these young people today. I did it because TikTok told me to....🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I've been running from hair gel since before most of these kids were born in the 1990s! It literally says gel on the label.... Gels do not hydrate or moisturize hair....ever.... Good entertainment for me though...sad for you young people ruining your hair and wasting your money...I guess we all have to learn at some time. 😅😅😅🥰😃😋🤗

hahaha, 😂 please i'm still learning how to take care of my hair, and when i went to buy i was told this one maybe i was given the wrong product dunni, but aways I understand how gels work 😂 😂 but so you agree that this product ruined my hair 😂 😂
