Lavender blooms, oils... knocks me out! One time I made a white chocolate lavender cheesecake using fresh lavender; then I ate a slice with tea I brewed with the lavender flowers... OMG... I remember waking up from a really deep sleep, delirious and not remembering when I even laid down lol... my boys were younger so I jumped up to check on them. 😂. That was a scary experiencelike I was drugged. Lavender is no joke! 😄💜

Erika Fleming That actually sounds good. I bought a big bag of lavender from mountain rose herbs for incense and my hair of course. I always wanted to cook with it. I was eyeing up a lemon and lavender cookie recipe. It smells so good I stick my face in the bag and give a whiff.

Tracy Yes Tracy it was actually really good, I loved it. My mom was very skeptical they couldn’t get with the lavender accents lol. I lovvve herbal food though. 😄 The cookie recipe sounds amazing! A chef friend of mine made something like that for a tea party event I hosted, they were great! I’m sure that bag of lavender is hypnotizing. 😌

M.A.D.CURLS LOL... Hi LoriAnne, yes it is supposed to be calming and relaxing, but I guess ingesting it through the tea and the cheesecake took it to whole new level for me! Girl I was proud of my homemade cheesecake, nibbling and sipping my tea being bougie in my pjs... then Lord knows what happen next 😂. I’ll never forget that night... never have I slept that hard other than under anesthesia. Lol

Wow both of you ladies had a great wash and go! I would love to see you both doing a comparison of using the curl love milk and curl maker vs the whipped cream leave in and the lavender crush gel. I think that would be a fun video not really to see which is better per say but really just as a fun comparison.

I tried the gel and spritzer last year when it was secretly in sallys and I say secretly because when I went into my local sallys ( Roanoke, Va) and they had it sitting in a misc clearance section and i grabbed the last few shaken spritzers and gels because for camille rose to be on clearance is a blessing in the natural community since they make great products. Mine came in a flip top jar but it looks the same and let me tell you my hair loves this gel hands down gives me definition and hold but its a very very soft hold on my hair that keeps my curls intact it weird how my hair reacts to this. And the shine!!! ✊🏾✊🏾😎 i remember telling you guys about it in one of your lives in the chat but at the time you guys said you wernt crazy about lavender so im glad to see you guys trying the line finally!! The next day for me is the best first day my hair is flat but once that frizz comes it gives it some life!!!

Am finally preparing to try the Lavender Gel (bought it during their $10 sale) and searched to see if you lovely ladies had posted a review........of course you did!!! I know the Curl Maker Gel is finicky with the leave-in you use with it so while I can't use the leave-in in this collection due to the Glycerin (2nd ingredient), so I'm going to try picking up the Spritzer to use below it. Wow! Finally someone else also experiences "different" curls depending on the product (particularly the styler) they use. I've been experiencing this for years but have never heard anyone else mention this.

Thank you ladies. The lavender spritzer has been a staple for more than a year. But i understand the formula has change in the new lavender line. I would not mind trying the entire line this summer. It true that i reveal ed a different curl pattern but i really like your results on you. Since i have seen your DEMO, and based on my experience of picking productswhere you had great results, i Will definetly try this Line. (thanks to you i tried The Mane Choice and it's my second favorite brand after Camille Rose). 💕💕

i definitely notice the curls are more finer than usual , so basically the products moisturized every strand of hair . my gets like as well with products sometimes . nice results . i wouldn’t mind trying this lavender 👏🏽👏🏽

I already have the older gel and spritzer from Sally beauty supply when it first launched awhile ago; so I didn't repurchase those. The difference I saw in the gel is that the glycerin is further down the list of the new gel. Great results. I have Type 3 curls too and sometimes our curl pattern can come out straighter, big curls, tight curls or medium curls. It all depends on what we use. I tried the spritz and the gel when it came out the first time awhile ago. It was O.K.

Well since I won't be able to touch it until I order it on line, I will take your word about the touch. LOL. I had heard so many mixed reviews about this line, I was not considering purchasing them, but now you have peaked my interest and since I love Camille Rose........Your results are awesome. I guess this is the next product on my "to try" list! I have a great sensitivity to smell, tell me the smell isn't overpowering? I had to take Jane Carters Curls to Go line back to the store because of the overpowering perfume smell.

Oh gosh I hate the strong floral smells too. I think it’s that way when it’s artificial scents vs using the 💯% pure ingredients or essential oil. Would love to try this out eventually. I just got the CurlMix lavender so I’ll wait before I dive in, or I’ll try to lol 💜

I got this line when it was first launched on Camille roses website!! I really like the line and I love mostly all of their products but the leave in and the gel did not mix it was clumping on my fingers while applying it. I had to use the leave in with curl maker!! Maybe they changed ingredients

Oh I’m so happy these are finally coming to Target. I was waiting for it to be at stores cause for some reason I just don’t like to order online. I have the entire Lavender Collection & I did not like this line at all & I LOVE Camille Rose Naturals hair products! I like that it's light weight in my hair (kinky fine type 4 hair). It gave me a ton of volume & my curls looked different too. The moisture doesn't last & when I do a wng I usually cowash every 2 days. The moisture didn't last until my next wash day. The spritzer spray dried my hair out! I did like the cleanser & the leave-in. Out of all the CRN products & I have a lot of them the Lavender Collection I grab for the least. My least favorite of the CRN hair products.

This hold is softer with no crunch. The curl maker is heavier & has a crunch. Both gels are moisturizing. In my hair (kinky fine type 4), lavender gel defines every single strand & the curl maker clumps my curls. Both look great & the hold for both is great. In my opinion, I think the curl maker has a little bit more of a stronger hold.

I purchased the line during the 2nd release. I was hesitant about the lavender scent because I thought it would make me sleepy like the herbal rendition of lavender. I like the gel much more than the Curl Maker! The Spritzer is a favorite!! I love the line! I can see it making it into The MADCURLS Hall of Fame this year 😉

I noticed the gel has had a formulation change and not sure when the reformulation was made. So, is the one you are using in this video the old ingredients or the new ingredients ?
