I use the Honey leave-in and Curlaid for my hair for twist outs not wash & go's and my hair is extremely soft and defined. You may want to try the Aloe gel and Curl Maker will give a better result. Camille products are great, but you have to be careful when combining her various cream products with her gel. Plus to me for my hair none of the Camille products are strong holds her products are soft hold.

Thank you! I completely agree! I will have to try out this combo you suggested. ❤

Of the products you used, the Curlaide Moisture Butter is my least favorite but the Honey Hydrate is my fav! That leave-in for me is VERY moisturizing & so is the Curl Maker… but the Curl Maker just doesn’t give me enough hold 😔 I think the curdling came bc you used A LOT of product.. like A LOT lol!! I have used this same combo & got pretty good results but I used a lot less product.. Please try them again & let us know how you feel!!

I wanted to love it but it's not it!! I've used raw honey in my diy conditioners and it felt 100x better than the Camille Rose conditioner. I could honestly tell my hair does not like it. 😩 I will give it another chance soon. Now, when I mixed the honey and butter off screen the two did not mix for me at all. So I omitted the conditioner and did something a little different. Hopefully, in the future I can show a fluffy wash n go with just the honey conditioner and curlaid (for all my fluffy sb). I'm thinking that would be cute!! Sadly, enough I wont be using all 3 as a combo in the future. The curlaid did lack hold but it did give me good definition and had a real nice slip. I'm huge on moisture and shine as well. I'll have to figure out something in order to make sure my hair is moisturized. I'm not a fan of just conditioner and gel (not the best wash n go in my opinion) but I shall see. Do you use this combo a lot? You have to share photos of it if so. You can catch me on IG.

I didn't have a good experience with the honey Leave in the first time so now I'm afraid to try it again but thinking about using it as a mix in with my DC.. although that might be a disaster

I agree. I did bring it back. 😉 With the help of a fellow YT I was able to figure out what worked for me. I noticed I needed to apply the honey leave-in first (all over my head) then apply my gel. My hair was able to properly absorb the product. Let me know how it turns out your second go around. kzbin.info/www/bejne/n4ubnK2QhpidmMU

Use the aloe butter gel and use it OVER the curl maker. the aloe butter is full of oils and it’s thick so it acts more as an occlusive.

Thank you for this combo!! I will have to try this. I have always wanted to try the Aloe Butter Gel, and now I have a reason to try it. So you stated to apply the curl maker first and then the aloe butter gel correct?!?! I noticed the emphasis 😆 lol so that must be important (us curly head Beauty's get it). Have you ever tried it the other way around? If so, did it make a difference?
@celestialmorpho2 жыл бұрын
@@simplebeauty7777 I haven’t tried it the other way around. I didn’t try the aloe gel by itself and the butter was nice and this but i felt like it would be softer if i put the curl maker underneath.

Try the butter with a twist out. And use less butter and more water.
