Just curious ... are there any notes other than concert C (written G) that you play on the F side? Is it a piece or instrument fluidity or sound thing to have chosen to do so? I'm a lifelong Elkhart 8D player - I play on its F side as much as possible to take advantage of the instrument's warmth in the midrange. This piece is well suited for that choice. But, given my adoration for Patterson's horns (I plan to audition his Knopf model soon) this may no longer be an F vs. Bb side thing. I'll ask you and Erik (and Hugo et al) about it later. Cheers!

I watch you for the first time. very beautiful sound. musical effects too .. but what about your short breath, does it take so long to play? such a feeling that the video and sound were recorded completely in different places ..
