I’d feel the same way as Alyssa if I were her - there is nothing worse then doing someone else’s job - deck and stew is a lot of work - but it’s nice to be able to change things up a bit - others have done it and it wasn’t an issue - Camille is too much!!!

She should honestly feel blessed to even be I'm both departments. More experience and more job opportunities. People worked for literal years to even get to where she is right now. Of course she's going to be overworked. She signed up for it. I know people who worked on the Big cruise ships and literally had shifts like 4 hours on/4 hours off for a week straight until the cruise is over. People will always have it harder but to me, she has everything handed to her on a Golden Plate and is refusing it because she's a picky spoiled B*.

I understand if there is nothing to do then take a short break. When I worked on a bar serving drink to thousands of people I could go on my 30 minute break with hot food only to while having a cigarette be recalled to the bar due to it being busy so I know how frustrating it can be but that’s life in hospitality and your never throw your boss or supervisor under the bus you do as your told or u find a new job basically. That’s why chefs say if u can’t handle the heat get out the kitchen it’s not cause your roasting to death it’s cause you have to think of 50 things at once.

She was idling so the captain assumed she had nothing to do and told her to rest while she can. Notice that when she complained about being tasked at every corner, the captain's tone changed. If there's work to do why not get to it instead of chatting to the captain

How unprofessional for a Captain to say that over an open mic for the whole crew to hear. Seriously that's as unprofessional as you can get as a naval officer it really erked me. Sandy seems to have a real problem with pretty girls because she picks on them constantly and there is a real whiff of bullying going on here and that chief stew would be let go in the real world .
