Thoughts on the onaqui HMA? They are rounding them up and I’m thinking about getting one but also it’s my first mustang and i know Utah isn’t the greatest place for first time training a mustang .

Sage And Grace I think onaqui doesn’t have a reputation for being too wild. Not every Utah mustang is going to be crazy. My new EMM mare is from Cedar Mountain Utah and she has been coming along great!

A year? Does that mean you own her? It's my understanding you only get 90 days with them but if you've had her for a year then how did you get her? Did you buy her at auction? Just curious. I love your channel and hope to one day compete in the Mustang Makeover program. My dream horse is a Mustang.

jerricho11 not every mustang that is adopted goes through the makeover! I bought Tuxedo through the sale authority program :)
@jerricho115 жыл бұрын
@@CamillesMustangs I had no idea we could do that!!!! I thought the mustang makeover program (and programs like it) were the only way. Do you get to choose the horse or is it chosen for you? Or is it more like players choice where you choose from a group? Also is this sale only certain times a year or an anytime sort of thing?
@CamillesMustangs5 жыл бұрын
jerricho11 you can adopt any horse available. Check out the BLM.gov website, go to programs, then to wild horse and burro program, then check out all the info they have on adopting!
@jerricho115 жыл бұрын
@@CamillesMustangs Thank you, I will definitely check it out but unfortunately, I don't have the space to adopt one right now. That said, I'm trying to go to school for something Equine related. I'm looking at schools and programs for next year. So someday I will have a Mustang... just not now.

Can you adopt an American mustang, when you live in the Netherlands?❤️lovely video, mustangs are so beautiful💞
@ayato47435 жыл бұрын
I think it is possible, since people buy horses from all over the world and let them get to their country by plane. But I think its most likely that you have to pay much money for the flight to get the horse to your country .
@emmal61055 жыл бұрын
Zou je kunnen doen, maar is zo goed als onmogelijk. Dan zou je eerst een lange tijd daar heen moeten om dat paard te trainen want je kunt natuurlijk niet zo maar een wild paard op transport doen. En het is heel duur...

I love the video but just one thing for the future You shouldn't really put weight one one side of a horse because it hurts their back (and they lose balance) and they have time to move so just get right on their back less painful and they will stay in place I'm saying from experience so please don't take it the wrong way Love u and your videos😍😍😍

As much as I enjoy your videos, like your training techniques, etc. I think you are humanizing the way Mustangs think a little too much in your introduction. I seriously doubt there is any wild horse that thinks "I hope someone adopts me and gives me a chance! I want to prove myself to these humans!" I am a horse owner myself, love my horses with every fiber of my being but I am also realistic and know that if given the choice of letting a person get on their back and riding them vs. going out and running freely, stopping to graze some of the wild grass or drink from a running stream, it's NOT going to be choice A. that they take! I have owned 4 INCREDIBLE horses in the past 20+ years and each one of them loved their humans immensely, but each one of them would still take choice A over choice B because they are horses.
@kuroshi27985 жыл бұрын
That horse learned really well, but it's too bad she doesn't have any papers or anything. She could go to more shows and he shown off with a set. People should see more of how nice mustangs can behave. Super cute markings though. I wish I had the time, money, and facilities to keep, train, and really feed up a mustang.

Not trying to be a debbie downer but you are inspiring people with your training of mustangs BUT why are not wearing a helmet? Proper footwear? Etc? Bad example and taking chances.
