Kevin, your videos are well thought out and educational for those interested in pocket knives in general, collecting and repairs of all types. You felt bad the other day in not getting a video out early. Don’t! Your family comes first and of course there are other things one has to do in life. In fact, I would suggest you take a few scheduled days off per week so you don’t suffer burn out. Your KZbin fans will still be here. All the best, Bill

Kevin, so glad you enjoyed the knives I sent you. The Imperial utility knife was my father in laws that he used in his years as a Sierra club master instructor for navigation and mountaineering. Look at the patents on the Shrade automatic, I think you would be surprised, I would love to see it working properly and new handles on it. Can not wait for the Buck 301, thanks for the trade! Mike

I have a couple that needs springs. I hate to destroy a good knife to fix a broken knife but the broken ones are 67’s Vietnam era knives. They’ll be worth more fixed than the donor knives. Too bad people don’t make those springs. I read the reason the springs break is due to people opening both blades on each end at the same time. Don’t know if it’s true or not. Great repair! Take it easy Doc!

Good video,,, I've recently changed a pin in a fish knife. Gave it a half stop,, and increased the spring tension. Had the devils own time getting the pin through two blades simultaneously, turned out,, ok.
