its a Good knife. i got one on sale for 10 bucks at walmart. i had it lil over a year now and it has served me well every now and then. i spend alot of time in the woods making Trails and dirt biking.

I bought me one a year ago and it is just as good if not better than the knife i had made for me 17 years ago that cost me 350.00. That i dont use anymore. This camillus knife goes everywhere with me. It does everything you need it to do.

I know this is an old video but had to wach it anyway because I baught one today. I been looking at it for a short while but went ahead and got it. By a huge surprise it did an Awsome job and I loved it. Exspecialy after getting a razor sharp edge on it which also surprised me. I normally say away from low budget knives but this time im glad I didn't.

Mine was only $7 and is the gut hook model. Works great for an EDC knife, as well as for camping, etc.

Bought one a year ago and it does everything high end knives do, after a good sharpening. The sheath is good and looks. They come in Brown or black. I like the brown.

Yes, I have pommeled with it but I'm not a fan of that unless wood is wet. There's plenty of small tinder around in almost any forest and desert areas. I think most people do Pommeling because it's fun to do. Cold weather doesn't seem to be an issue with it.

Tractor Supply just had these for 8 bucks....bought their last 2......couldn't not do it. Just as backup blades for GH or PU kits.....I always carry a couple of pretty high dollar folders on my person....and a Mora always goes in my bag along with a Bahco laplander saw.....along with a pew pew or two.....so I feel pretty confident that I won't fail for lack of having the correct tools for any "jobs" that may come my way in a WTH type situation.

Great review,....I bought one in Dec. only because of the price and the fact that I have the Camillus Carnivore X and liked it pretty good,..wasn't really expecting much out of it but was I wrong. You are absolutely correct,..... it is a great "accidental" bushcraft knife! Gonna pick up a couple more soon if they still have any.Thanks for the review and you have a new subscriber.

+NC Sandman yea it sure is a accidental bushcraft knife that belly is great for feather sticks that spine will strike a ferro rod greatly and that grip is just very comfortable and feels good in the hand .. and thanks I'm glad to hear I got a new sub check out my latest videos if you got time

I got my Camillus Titanium knife at the swap meet, for $6.00. Actually, it's a great knife. I understand that it's not a $100 knife. I know that I could break it. I know that I'll have to sharpen it, every time I use it. But it really will do what I want it to do, as long as I'm not stupid about it. If I want to do something stupid with a knife, I have knives that cost hundreds of dollars. I can do stupid stuff with them, all day, without damaging the knifes.

These are pretty good knives.....but also remember......for a few dollars more.....you can get a Mora with a much better sheath..... The basic plain Jane Mora's can be had for 9.99 at Academy Sports.

Thank you for beating this one up like that, I purchased 2 of these to go on my pistol belts for AR 15 and shotgun. I couldn't justify to pay a couple hundred dollars each for a blade to just leave on there in case a worst case scenario happened. For 20 bucks, I have a knife on both. Both of them came sharp which was nice too.

I just bought one of there new knifes with the wood for snake skin kinda handle and its good quality for the price but I paid for one of the more pricey but its holding up the tip is OK hasn't bent yet or snapped and came razor sharp was able to shave my arm hair and the Steele type for mine it says 240

I got one today and was very surprised with how good it was. I like a good knife but won't normally spend the money coz I lose them so easily. There is also a "skinner" version in the hunting department of Walmart. I think I might pick that one up as well coz it's also only $10

I have purchased 2 of these at Wal-Mart this summer for around $9.40. One was slightly sharper than the other out of the package. I think the steel is 440C. I have been very surprised at the quality for the price. It's not as good as the premium brand knives but it costs a fraction of price and if you loose it (or it breaks) you only had a $10 investment. I think this is a great backpack, back up survival, first fixed blade knife. Camillus also make a hunting version of this knife for around the same price.

Hey Wal-Mart has another exclusive knife that they just started carrying. It's a Gerber Mesa. It looks pretty decent for $44. It's just like this knife in that there is no info online about it

I subscribed and of course as for starting fire I practice all kinds cause u never know. the hand drill and bow drill and other primitive techniques are hard. I cuss so much trying to start fires with primitive techniques I practice that more because I'm too comfy using modern techniques lol

+the vein slayer ya my favorite way is petroleum jelly cotton balls I even do that burning boxes down on the property it really gets it going well but I have the feather sticking and ferro rod method down well I feel like I might try primitive but my message is to never have to get to that point

Chris Holder for 10 dollars, it seems great, 440 holds an edge good enough for me, and I’ll definitely look into it. I’ll try to learn about the tang and tempering to see if batoning is anything this knife should be doing.

It’s for sure not titanium they never said it was made out of titanium, the name of the knife is titanium cause the want to market it as being strong which I gotta say for a 10$ knife it’s pretty damn strong

Nice review. Can't believe how many reviews of this model Camillus 19308 I am finding now. I bought mine back in February or March and couldn't find the first review of this 19308 model anywhere on KZbin. So I did a review of the knife and put it thru some tests to see how it performs. I really like this knife, the sheath to me is junk, that is why I made my own leather sheath since I do leather work. I even have a video of me making the sheath for it on my KZbin channel.
