Thank you for sharing your favorite stages of the Camino! I walked part of the Camino in September 2019 and you’re spot on with favorite parts of Camino. It helps to plan my upcoming September walk . Thank you!

I've so enjoyed watching your journey!! You and your family are so real, quietly passionate, and really encompass what "living" is all about. Looking forward to whatever your next adventure might be!

Thanks for your kind words. We’ll be mostly walking UK trails this year, but will do the Camino Ingles.

Thanks for this. I agree very much about your selection of favorite routes. I rerally liked the walks from Astorga westwards and coming down to Ponferrada and the Bierzo with its wine. I had a crazy experience in an evening dinner in Gonzar after Porto Marin with some americans and australians when everybody had a softened up brain and the conversation just went out of sense completely. I will never forget it.

Glad you agree with most of our choices! The truth is that the weather, company, and experience of the day have a lot to do with which days are favorites, but I think that there are a few that stand out on their own. We're going back to the Camino in 2024, and we already can't wait!

Hard to go past the stage between SJPdP and Roncesvalles for no. 1. Walking down the steep mountain side through the virgin beech forest was magic. After that there are so many choices and like you, most are in the stretch between Leon and Sarria. Impossible to choose.

We both had a hard time picking stages 6 - 10. Our top 5 were a little easier to pick, but putting them in order was hard.

The Meseta was my largest favorite part.... but I don't know if any single day on the Meseta would make my top 10 Single Day list. My top Single Day would be Tricastela - Samos - Sarria. I've walked it twice, and even on a rainy Galician day.... it is #1 with me. It's not the food stops.... there aren't many. (not counting the Hwy parts) It made me feel that I was a Pilgrim, walking 100's of years ago, along the Kings (tree lined) Roads.

Next time we have an extra day in Spain, we’re going to walk that. I’ve talked to others who also said that was their favorite.
