Thank you so much for taking the time to film the VdlP. Interesting to note that my wife and I were completing our first Camino on the Frances at the same time as you walked the VdlP. We will be returning to Spain next April to do this walk...so keenly interested in your commentary and observations. Well done!! Buen Camino.

Hi Kevin, thank you very much. This Camino will contrast a lot comparing to the Frances and I am sure you will love it as well. The spirit of the Camino is always present but this one is much calmer and quieter.

hi, thank you for the beautiful video, just showing the landscape. of course there are others with information about albergues etc. but this is just for the beauty of the and if i wish to walk i can still watch the other videos too. really really super. did you sometimes use a drone too

Hi Marianne, thanks for your comment and your appreciation. I don't use a drone, but I use a 360° camera (the Insta360 ONE X2). With this camera I can make some drone like shots. This helps me capture as much as possible from the landscape and define the camera angles in post production.

Thanks! I think that period of the year is fine to hike the southern part, although it still was very hot in the beginning of the afternoon.

Hi Richard. It depends on how used you are to hiking long distances. The Via de la Plata is a lonely Camino compared to the other popular ones. There are fewer pilgrims, fewer services for pilgrims and daily distances are often over 30km. While this Camino is very beautiful and I enjoyed the hike, I would not suggest it as the first Camino. For me it was the 5th Camino.
