i used to work at the oprah house in bournemouth circa 1997-1999 and this tune was by far the biggest tune i remember whilst working there. as soon as the that heavy beat came in at the start everyone fucking rushed the dance floor.... it was an absolute monster. even better, spaced (the tv show) captured the time perfectly when pills were great, dance music was great, and when that baseline hit everyone went apeshit! good times....

This is from 1998. Full blast commercialization of electronic dance music. Love Parade by this year is a multi-million business. Attendants to the dance events easily spend thousands on their look (clothes, hair, piercings, tattoos, ...) The times this track is from are definitely not the good old rave days when no one cared about the look just about the music. That'd been 1990-1993 IMO.
