Filmed with a Panasonic GH5 camera - amzn.to/3eN0Op2 1969 Chevelle. One of my favorite muscle cars. Has a GM performance parts cam in it, with lunati lifters and edelbrock heads. Originally a 396 BBC, now sports a Blueprints Engines 454 LS6 crate engine. This Malibu Chevelle also has some kind of electronically controlled exhaust cutouts as well. Nothing like the sound of a big cam V8 with long tube headers and an open exhaust. Awesome big Cam idle sound.

My uncle (RIP) had a few Chevelles in his time including a 69 SS 396 4 speed and a 73 SS 454 4 speed, I’ll never forget when I was 17 and he tossed me the keys for the first time. Good that was a fun car.

Oh, man, what a car...When I was in body shop one of my classmates had a car just like this. We painted it orange, with two big black stripes. He gave me a lift to my home town, Elberton, Georgia, about 50 miles away from Athens Tech, in Athens, Georgia.
