You’re not hearing blower surge, as the blower is bypassed until certain throttle input is met. Then the bypass valve shuts and makes boost. You’re just hearing chop from a big cam with large duration on the lobes, and partly the tune.

@@damascus-ut1ee respectfully, I feel you're wrong. The lope is too great and strung out To be a tight cam LSA. This is definitely blower surge, you can hear the chop in the cam later on after the cold idle starts to settle

@@joshuahaugen6539 It doesn’t really matter that you “feel” I’m wrong, and I’m not wrong. It’s literally the basic way any PDS (positive displacement supercharger) blower is setup. The air past the throttle body is going past the rotors through a bypass valve into the heads when throttle input is at idle or cruising, until a certain % of throttle is reached. You think that’s not true and they are making small boost all the time? That would sky rocket intake temps and lead to 5mpg on any car that had these types of blowers. The uploader said part of it was the tune, and obviously the other part is it being a large cam. Having high duration doesn’t mean it’s a tight LSA, no one said that. Hellcat and demon cams already have high duration so if any aftermarket cam is put in them, they’re going to have more and more overlap- the sound that makes a cam chop.
