I think you made a good point about the downside of blink. If you're the only one using it, you're more predictable. Maybe astrocyte could be better, but normal blink feels so bad. Also maybe a theory, blink feels worse on console/lower fps. When I try to dodge an ability or something, despite my character clearly being at the end point of blink, I still get killed. It's like if lower fps makes blink have massive latency issues

All these prismatic melee got me thinking about an exotic that lets you chain melees. Picture the titan consecration is not just doing a follow up slam after slam, but druming on the earth shaking and making back to back ignitions. And warlock would be similar to the hunter arc super, Or in general, lets you use up an ability charge that gets inteser with each follow up charge. Double shurkiens could combo into a slow explosion,for ex. Its already a thing with the warlock chest piece.

I have a build with touch of malice and secant filaments on regular void for longer devour and it actually can be really strong. You can easily 4 tap with touch of mailce with 3 in mag and instantly get your health back or just regular with emp rift.

@@JoshuaDonnieBuller My main issue using it on void is that it forces you to use the inferior version of the void soul with the inferior exotic (base secant filaments) The rift cooldown is long, with the facet of hope it's faster, not to mention a healing grenade comes in a lot if I fail to secure a kill.

@@kalicula7718 fair enough. I havent gotten a class item with secant so I would like to try that way too. Might be hard for me though because I really like the void soul, extended devour and the aspect that lets you get devour on orb pickups so you have multiple ways to proc. Def understand your points though and will look to adjust my build once I get lucky enough to get that class item.
