One of my high school students corrected me and I took that opportunity to confirm what he said by looking it up with him in that moment, saw he was accurate, gave him credit, apologized and we moved on to the next step. And we get to know more about Shannon, other than him being a great footballer and learn how emotionally mature, intelligent, and insightful he is. Something that we never really had any exposure to, other than a few short side-line interviews, etc. In fact, I'm just learning about this channel, because you're featuring Shannon. Talking about who had the better diss-track, most Spotify listeners, most subscribers to their tomfoolery KZbin content, who is funny on a podcast between friends, predators taking advantage young kids/adult for "fame." On the other end we have JRE episodes with Dwayne the Rock doing crazy numbers too. A pretend wrestler megamovie star and ufc commentator/martial artist and comedian. Same here. Amanda was a gifted child as well. We don't lose our gifts (high intelligence) simply because we grow up. Shannon had a whole other experience in school.
@latonyajackson42953 ай бұрын
@cynthiaevans7371 , I was also in accelerated classes (in the deep South, by the way) from elementary through high school.... such environments indeed embrace and foster the idea to challenge theories, thoughts, people, etc. A possible factor to consider regarding the difference between Shannon and Amanda's views on her approach to her teacher is that they are of different generations. Shannon's generation maybe was taught to prioritize the position/authority first and foremost, in my opinion. I can definitely remember the adage (in the South, at least) that a child should be seen and not heard . On the other hand, our accelerated programs modeled a different thought process of respectfully testing and challenging information, etc. Perhaps, different childhood decades is simply why their viewpoints aren't the same on this particular matter.

The universe played a role in Katt’s interview. Katt said he was the 102nd audition for Friday after next. Shannon’s 102nd guest was Katt and it was filmed on 1/02. It was meant for that interview to take place on that day for whatever reason. On top of that, the interview wasn’t trending on KZbin. It reached 20 million views in 2 weeks. That explains who controls the algorithm.

I've staked the number at 100Ms by the end of 2024. That's what I really like about Unk's pod, he knows that most people just want to be heard and he lets them tell their story their way.

I live in Europe and that interview was all over social media here as well. People love Katt Williams and the way he speaks makes you want to keep paying attention and listen. Like he said he comes to a country and gets to know it and understand it. He really did that when he was here in Sweden doing a stand up. He is the best❤

True. Alot of people became jealous of Shannon Sharpe's success. The views are higher on Shannon Sharpe's show bc of how he asks questions. He comes across as kind, humble and provides a safe space to speak. Shannon was right to ask Amanda about correcting a teacher.

I agreed with him , especially in those times & with a mayo teacher. Yep , she overstepped a child's place . I guess she didn't understand WHY she should've waited , until after class .

I haven't watched many of Shannon's interviews because honestly I have no interest in the entertainment industry. The ones I have seen it's like rapper, athlete, comedian, athlete, actor, comedian, bitchy movie stars, reality TV show hosts. Is there anything like beneficial to actual reality? Are there scientist, doctors, engineers, lawyers, police officers, prison guards, philosophers etc. Im tired of hearing about who's funny who's not. Who had the better diss-track, this athlete guarding this athlete, dating channels, Will Smith smackin Chris Rock, who is the better Jester dancing for the king. Can we get people who keep the world spinning on this podcast? Not people keep us distracted/ "Entertained" from the very real world around us.

Still one of my all time favorite interviews with Katt or anyone for that matter. Like Shannon said, he was doin stand up AND speaking the truth. He was funny while being serious. He does the same in his own standup. He sprinkles truth in every single standup special he’s put out.

Shannon trying to get Katt Williams for over a year. Chance meeting with soon-to-be Williams manager, Katt is on club Shay Shay in less than a week. My favorite part of this entire interview was Cams immediate reaction. "Look at God" Priceless. God will always put you in the situations you need to be in. If it's something you didn't need God didn't have anything to do with it.

You and your platform will be remembered as a vehicle necessary to elevate the culture and entertainment industry, thanks to Katt. Someone had to.. because what came from that interview that you conducted so well, opened eyes and saved lives and prayerfully will redirect the MO(method of operation) in a positive direction. I enjoy your interview style, so many of us do..watch and see that 'interviews' worldwide will change going forward.
