It’s because the road isn’t set at a constant angle. So when you get to that part thats at a shallower angle than the rest of the road, it seems like the wave speeds up when, in actuality, sea level rises at a consistent rate

​​@@joyforlife1862ell get lost more I think it's called resolution of vectors. If you look at the slope in a 2d graph, the speed of the car is along that slope. But the while the speed remains the same the slopes inclination decrease, the change in velocity along the y-axis (rate at which its height increases),decreases. In a bit more complex term, the change in velocity *component* along the y-axis decreases, despite the magnitude of velocity(speed) remaining the same. But the flood only moves in the upward direction. So when the flood seems to be moving up faster (relative to the car), that's not actually happening. What is actually happening is that the car's ascension rate(rate at which it's moving up or along the y-axis or the change in velocity along the y-axis) is decreasing No TLDR

Yeah the flood seemed to pick up speed because the road's slope decreased, therefore the constant height increase rate means the horizontal movement speed rises sharply.

@@coolass5005 To be fair to Camodo, that kind of consideration is not something that people tend to make without giving said thought some attention, like when you aren't trying to outrun said flood. You have to have either the training or natural inclination to multitask doing the action while thinking about the math that will help you complete the action better, or at least tell you of the consequences and the fact that you can't change the outcome anyway. I'm just a hypervigilant and super-analytical individual, so my brain is always redlining to process these things unless I'm consciously trying to relax, which sounds self-defeating but hey, it works for me.

so the reason why the flood seems to speed up is because when you are on not as much of a upclimb or a hill the flood in reality is only going the same speed but cause you arent going up as fast it seems to go faster than your going

the luxe bastion has a speed limiter on it and it causes the vehicle to stop at a certain speed. in the vehicle config, go to your ecu and open the menu up. you will see speed limiter, pick the speed limiter delete. You're Welcome!!!
